Celebrating 10 Years of Epic Adventure Travel!

Nomad Dave with his new Tiger 900 Rally Pro

Coming off an intense 4 months of incredible travel to about 20 new countries for me in Africa plus revisiting several countries in Europe in the Fall of 2023 I took a month off from thinking about future travel plans.  Now, as I’m writing this in February 2024, true to form, I just can’t stop planning future travel.  I’m now very excited for what is starting to take shape for this 10th year anniversary of being Nomad Dave.

September 15th marks the 10th anniversary of the day I pulled out of my driveway in Olympia, Washington on my brand-new motorcycle heading to Ushuaia, Argentina on what turned out to be just the first segment of a much larger trip than that.  So, to celebrate that event, this year on September 15th I plan to retrace my route from Olympia, Washington down as far as Phoenix, Arizona.  No crossing into Mexico this time but the ride to Phoenix will be epic and very nostalgic.  From there the plan is to head back north riding through the Sierra-Nevada Mountain range, taking time to enjoy the fantastic roads along the way.  Currently, my sidekick, Nomad Roy is planning to ride along which will make it even that much more special.

Then in October or November the plan is to head back to Spain where my other bike is waiting for me.  Nomad Roy may join me there as well and we plan to ride the fantastic roads in Spain, France, and Italy.  Stay tuned!
